A Step by Step Overview for our Model Home Process:
- During our initial conversation, we will talk with you about the design aesthetic you wish to bring to your model home, and decide on a Pottery Barn, west elm, or Williams-Sonoma model.
- We will ask you to provide a buyer profile, floor plan and model square footage.
- We will then put together a preliminary quote based on the design aesthetic and square footage.
- Once the parties agree on the budget, the quote is signed, and the local store begins the design process. A design specialist from the local store will visit your space if able to discuss style preferences.
- A design specialist will put together a design plan, and host a presentation to show you the products we intend to use. This in-store design review is interactive, so changes can be made during the presentation with the goal of finalizing the design by the end of the meeting.
- Once design is finalized, a prepayment is required to process all orders.
- Orders are placed and tracked, and we coordinate all logistics for a seamless delivery.
- Once furniture is delivered and placed, the design specialist will return to ‘style out’ the model. A ‘style out’ includes: setting the table, making the bed(s), steaming the drapes, arranging decorative accessories and getting the model ready to show. Please note, we’ll need a maintenance person to help hang the drapery rods, artwork, mirrors, etc.
- The final step is a walk-through with the client and sign off on the completed model.
